Agra:
In an atmosphere steeped in nostalgia, heritage, and quiet celebration, the Mayo College Agra Chapter is set to host a special evening titled “A Night to Remember” at a picturesque farmhouse at Puiya Ghat, nestled along the serene banks of the River Yamuna.

The gathering brings together Old Boys and Old Girls of Mayo College residing in and around Agra, reaffirming bonds forged during school years at one of India’s most distinguished educational institutions. Against the backdrop of a radiant full moon and the gentle flow of the Yamuna, the evening promises to be both intimate and memorable.

An Evening Rooted in Legacy and Fellowship

Mayo College has long been synonymous with tradition, character, and lifelong friendships. The Agra Chapter’s event reflects these values, offering alumni a chance to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate shared heritage in an environment that mirrors the school’s timeless ethos.

Set under starlit skies, the evening will feature:

  • A warm bonfire, symbolising camaraderie and togetherness
  • Live jamming and music, creating an atmosphere of soulful nostalgia
  • Informal conversations, laughter, and shared memories among fellow Mayoites

The farmhouse venue at Puiya Ghat, with its tranquil riverside setting, adds a rare charm—blending nature, history, and reflection in a way befitting Mayo’s legacy.

Strengthening the Mayo Spirit in Agra

The event is part of the Agra Chapter’s ongoing efforts to foster a close-knit alumni community, encouraging meaningful interactions beyond formal reunions. Such gatherings not only revive old friendships but also help strengthen inter-batch connections, reinforcing the enduring Mayo spirit.

Alumni have been invited to attend with their guests, making the evening a celebration not just of the past, but of the relationships that continue to grow through shared values and experiences.

A Celebration Beyond Time

As the moonlight reflects on the waters of the Yamuna and music fills the air, “A Night to Remember” stands as a quiet yet powerful reminder of Mayo College’s lasting influence—where friendships transcend years, and tradition lives on through its people.
