About Peeli Kothi

Peeli kothi

  • Built in 1903 by Deputy Collector Mahendra Singh Ji, it’s the ancestral home of a prominent Rajput family in Agra. The original owner was Kunwar Prabal Pratap Singh

  • Constructed as a spacious mansion (kothi), it stands out among colonial and post-Mughal-era residences of Agra .

  • Located in Wazirpura, an area near Agra Fort with pin code 282003

  • Wazirpura lies just east of Paliwal Park, making Peeli Kothi easy to locate in the old-city mosaic near Sanjay Place

  • Occasionally hosts cultural events like the “Virangana (Veer Naari) Samman Samaroh” organized by Mahendra Bhawan Peeli Kothi Agra.
