Maharana Pratap Jayanti Procession

Agra: The birth anniversary of national hero, Kshatriya Shiromani, was celebrated with the organization of a procession. Maharana Pratap. Raja Mahendra Aridman Singh, former Cabinet Minister, and Dr. Rajendra Singh, former MLA, graced the procession. Kr. Bhumendrapal Singh of Awagarh, State President of A.B.K.M., lit the lamp to mark the event.

The procession began at Chaudhary Garden and concluded at Hundred Foot Park, featuring 21 captivating tableaux. Prominent figures from the Kshatriya community, such as Dr. Dharam Pal Singh, MLA, RV Singh Sisodia, Ramnath Sikarwar, Shyam Bhadoria, Ram Pratap Singh Chauhan, and Pradeep Bhati, participated in the event, spreading important social messages.

The birth anniversary of Maharana Pratap Jayanti is now celebrated beyond Rajasthan, with Rajput pride and Hindu resistance to foreign rule being symbolized. Social media plays a crucial role in sharing quotes, wishes, and educational content, furthering the reach of this day.

The procession was led by Chandra Bhan Singh Tomar, with support from Executive President Hari Shankar Jasawat, Coordinators Pappu Raghav and Devendra Singh Dhakre, General Secretary Pradeep Sikarwar, Treasurer Rajveer Singh Chauhan, and Media Incharge Yogesh Tomar. Attendees included Surendra Singh, Vijay Singh Tomar, Dhanveer Singh Tomar, and others.

Earlier, at the Maharana Pratap statue by the Yamuna River, Bhanwar Singh Chauhan, District President, and Pt. Dhanveer Singh Tomar bathed the statue with milk and Ganga water before offering a garland to Maharana Pratap and his horse Chetak. A Baithak was also held at Rajput Bhawan, Waterworks, by Kr. Bhumendrapal Singh as the chief guest.
